At Niva Studios Photography, I bring over 10 years of experience capturing love in its most authentic form. My true- to color, natural photography style ensures that every moment is beautifully preserved.
I make it a point to create a fun, relaxed atmosphere for your family session—complete with games for the kids—so everyone feels comfortable and has a great time. Instead of rigid poses, you’ll be gently guided through movement suggestions, offering just enough direction to capture you at your most relaxed and natural. Think of it as more of a hangout than a session, where we celebrate your family’s love and connection.
I cater to families, extended families, and couples, as well as offering portraiture. I’m here to guide you every step of the way, as well as suggesting locations and providing a full style guide, which will help you have all the info you need to look your best for your session. FAQ
HOW LONG HAVE YOUR BEEN IN THE PHOTO BIZ? This is my 10th year in the business and I’m happy to share that I’ve shot sessions in Europe, Canada, Australia, USA, and the Pacific Islands during this time..
WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU SHOOT HAVE? I shoot with Canon gear. Canon’s Mirrorless R6 and an R6 II, 85mm 1.4, 50mm 1.4, & a 24-70mm lens, and a drone!!! Additional speed lights and off-camera flashes are used if needed.
HOW DO YOU PROVIDE THE PHOTOS? I will send an email with a link to all your photos. They will be in a private online photo gallery where you can download from.
HOW DO I SECURE A SESSION WITH YOU? A retainer along with a signed contract is required to book a session.
WILL YOU HELP ME WITH POSING? Yes!! I am very hands on and will never expect you to show up knowing how to model. For the most part, I’ll give you cues that lead to the kind of photos you dream about.
CAN YOU HELP ME PLAN OUR OUTFITS? I have a full family style guide upon booking which will help you get the most out of your photos. It will help you select the right colors and patterns that photograph best.
WHEN CAN WE EXPECT TO SEE OUR PHOTOS? 4-6 weeks for weddings and 2-4 weeks for other sessions, including 3 sneak peeks within 24-48 hours of your session day.
DO WE EARN RIGHTS TO OUR DIGITAL FILES? I provide a print release form, but kindly ask you not to change/edit the photos I provide.
CAN I HAVE/SEE THE UNEDITED RAW PHOTOS? Sorry, NO. But don’t worry, the absolute best images are delivered in your gallery for you to cherish.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? I am based in Kansas City, Missouri
HOW LONG IS OUR COVERAGE? Lifestyle family sessions and portraits coverage ranges from 30 min-2 hrs, depending on the package you choose.
HOW DO WE HIRE YOU FOR OUR SESSION? Just fill out the contact form on the “Contact Page”. To book, I require a signed contract and a 30% retainer.
